I am seeking graduate students (Ph.D. level) to work on a 3-year NSF funded project on
bat-tiger moth interactions including acoustic aposematism, mimicry, and sonar jamming.
Students selected for this project would be enrolled in the graduate program through the
Department of Biology at Wake Forest University. Students working on this project will be
fully supported by research and teaching assistantships for the duration of their degree.
Openings are available in the Fall of 2008.
Research will involve behavioral observation, sound analysis, high speed videography, 3D
flight-track reconstruction, and animal husbandry.
