This three year project will characterise the influence of dietary supplements, such as combined omega-3 oils and curcumin supplements, on AD-related brain pathology and cognition in a preclinical animal model of A.D. Applicants will be expected to have a degree background in neuroscience, psychology or a related field of study. The successful applicant will acquire knowledge and practical skills concerned with the assessment of memory processes in animals and biochemical analyses of amyloid production and deposition.
