Position Description:
Require field personnel as team leader to work together with local
staff monitoring (using radio telemetry and observation)
rehabilitated reintroduced mona guenons; challengint position with
long hours, fit, difficult hot and humid conditions, isolated from
social outlets. Work starts as soon as possible. Will be supervised
by the Research Coordinator and Deputy Director of CERCOPAN and work
as part of a team including local staff, which will monitor release
animals dawn to dusk. Located at Rhoko Conservation, Research and
Education Centre (CERCOPAN).
Qualifications/Experience:
Minimum first degree in Animal Behaviour, Primatology, Anthropology,
Those with Masters degree or field/travel experience given
preference. Field course beneficial. Some experience in behavioural
observations essential. Will train on telemetry, but experience
definitely an advantage. Travel experience to developing world
essential, particularly hot humid environments. Volunteer experience
an asset, whether at home or abroad. Leadership qualities, able to
make decisions in the field, but also follow direction.

Volunteer position

lodging):
Room and board provided. Ticket from uk provided with minimum 1 year
committment.

1 year, renewable
